UAE President: Global crises prompted us to take advantage of technology

UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the crises currently facing the world prompted the UAE to strive to take advantage of technology to find innovative solutions to meet the challenges of food and water security by starting to implement qualitative initiatives for water desalination and rice and wheat cultivation according to the latest technological methods, noting To his country's aspiration, through these initiatives, to make an unprecedented qualitative leap in this regard to achieve food security. This came during his meeting with a number of young people in the Emirates at the Qasr Al-Bahr Council, on the occasion of International Youth Day.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed indicated - according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) today / Saturday / - that the world is in a state of constant change and there are many challenges facing it, but the UAE has a clear vision for the long-term future that it follows and works to achieve with the zeal, determination and capabilities of its people.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed stressed the need to adhere to the values of the authentic Emirati society, to preserve the constants on which it is based, and to respect its customs and traditions. To be good individuals in society, noting the importance of the role of youth in contributing to advancing the country's progress and achieving its vision.
