The Romanian Navy announced that it will conduct military exercises with Washington, Kiev and other allied countries from September 11 to 15 in the areas under its control in the Danube Delta and the Black Sea.

The Romanian Navy stated that "the activities will be carried out in the area under the responsibility of the Romanian Navy, and representatives from Bulgaria, Britain, Turkey and France will also participate in them."

The Romanian Navy indicated that "the main objective of the exercises is to develop operational and tactical cooperation between the participating countries in order to ensure freedom of navigation."
