The United States renewed its commitment to seeking diplomacy to resolve tensions along the Israeli-Lebanese border and the goal of avoiding regional escalation.
This came, according to what the US Department of Defense published in a statement on its website, today, Friday, during a phone call between US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and his Israeli counterpart, Yoav Galant.

During his call with Gallant, Austin stressed the importance of ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
