In the wake of revelations of Russian interference in Europe, the European People's Party group is calling for an urgent general debate in the European Parliament. According to what was stated in a statement issued by the group and distributed via email, and we received a copy of it
The statement also said: "The European People's Party stands firmly against Putin's disinformation and propaganda, and the danger he poses to our democracy must be exposed at all levels."
The European People's Party (EPP) is the largest political group in the European Parliament, with 178 members from all EU member states.
