The situation in Sudan is once again on the European Union’s agenda during the foreign ministers’ meeting tomorrow

The Foreign Affairs Council, chaired by High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Josep Borrell, is scheduled to meet in Luxembourg tomorrow morning, Monday.
Russian aggression against Ukraine
According to what was issued by the European Union institutions in Brussels, the Council will discuss the Russian aggression against Ukraine, after an informal exchange of views with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Defense Minister Rustam Omerov via video conference. The following discussion will be attended by EU foreign and defense ministers in a joint session.
The situation in the Middle East
EU foreign ministers will discuss the situation in the Middle East, including developments on the ground and in the region as a whole.
Sudan
The Council will exchange views on the latest developments in Sudan after an informal exchange of views with the Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Sudan, Ramatane Lamamra, who will attend the meeting in person.
Current affairs
The Foreign Affairs Council will discuss current affairs where ministers will be able to exchange views on recent events and rapid developments in foreign relations.
