The institutions of the unified European bloc in Brussels said that the public affairs ministers of the member states will hold a meeting on Tuesday “the day after tomorrow to prepare for the European Council meeting,” the summit of the leaders of the member states on June 27 and 28, 2024. The draft agenda proposed will be discussed at the EU leaders’ meeting next June, and the leaders will address issues related to the following:

Article 7 Procedure relating to Poland
The Council will assess developments in Article 7(1) proceedings relating to violations of the rule of law in relation to Poland.
The discussion will take place after the European Commission has completed its analysis of the situation in Poland, on the basis of which it has concluded that there is no longer a clear risk of a serious violation of the rule of law in Poland within the meaning of Article 7(1). ).
Within the framework of the annual dialogue on the rule of law, ministers will also discuss the situation of the rule of law in Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg.
