Brussels: Europe and the Arabs
The training course on the future of the European Union, which is being held at the International University of Menéndez and Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander, Spain, from August 19 to 23, concludes Friday, in continuation of a 23-year tradition, 2024. According to the website of the European External Action Service in Brussels, which added under the title "The European Union as a geopolitical actor", in a context characterized by the war in Ukraine and its consequences for the economy, global stability and the emergence of China, the course addresses the position of the European Union as a geopolitical actor, its contribution to European security and its relations with the United States, China and other regions of the world. The second session focused on EU support to Ukraine.
