Brussels – Jakarta: Europe and the Arabs

The 5th Halal 20 Summit (H20) is set to take place in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, from September 18 to 20, 2026.
Sheikh Nourredine Tawil, President of the Council of Muslim Scholars in Belgium and Europe, announced his participation in the summit, representing the Council alongside a distinguished group of scholars, experts, and specialists from the global Halal sector.
His participation reflects the Council's commitment to fostering international cooperation, exchanging expertise, and contributing to the development of Halal standards and practices in accordance with Islamic principles and professional standards.
This prominent event is organized by the Indonesian Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The summit is held under the theme: "Building Bridges: Connecting Nations and Strong Partnerships through Global Halal Trade and Economy."
