The vehicles provided through the Commission's Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) service are part of a larger support package for needs in high-risk environments.

The European Commission, through FPI, is handing over the 50 vehicles to the Ukrainian authorities. 30 of them are allocated to NPU and 20 to OPG. These purchases are being implemented within the framework of the “Integrated Response Mechanism for Ukraine” project, jointly financed by the European Union and the German Federal Foreign Office.
