European Parliament elections...the highest percentage of voters in Germany, France, and Italy, and the lowest in Malta and Cyprus

The 2024 European Parliament elections are scheduled to take place from 6 to 9 June 2024. Eurostat has asked the national statistical institutes of the European Union member states to collect dedicated data on the number of people eligible to vote. This was announced Thursday in Brussels by the Center European statistics "Eurostat"
National estimates indicate that, on election dates, the largest numbers of eligible voters are expected to be in Germany (64.9 million people), France (49.7 million), and Italy (47 million). The lowest numbers are expected to be in Malta (0.4 million), Luxembourg (0.5 million) and Cyprus (0.7 million).
When it comes to first-time voters (people who have reached voting age since the last European elections in 2019), the highest numbers are expected to be in Germany (5.1 million people), France (4 million) and Italy (2.8 million). The lowest numbers are expected to be in Malta (20,000 people), Cyprus (37,000) and Estonia (70,000). The highest proportion of first-time voters is expected in Belgium, France and Germany at 9.7%, 8.0% and 7.9% of all eligible voters, respectively.
